There is no entrance fee to visit Diamond Beach on Iceland’s scenic south coast!

Viewing the icebergs and ice crystals strewn about the black sand of Diamond Beach (and strolling the sand to snap lots of photos!) is totally free and you do not have to worry about purchasing tickets.

But, if you plan to drive to Diamond Beach and park your vehicle at the Diamond Beach parking lot near the beach, there is a parking fee of 1,000 ISK (Icelandic krona), roughly USD 7.80. It’s a flat fee.

And, of course, if you plan to join a guided tour of the South Coast that includes Diamond Beach, you should book the excursion ahead of time to get the date of your choosing.

Is Diamond Beach in Iceland free to visit?

Like other natural attractions on Iceland’s scenic South Coast, the black sand Diamond Beach is free to visit.

However, if you wish to park a vehicle at the paid parking lot, a fee is charged, to help maintain the facilities.
